The Biowars team was present at Comic Con 2009 in NYC on Saturday, February 7. As it was the unveiling of the Blastor costume, most people did not really know what to call him. He was called “blue guy”, “blue man”, and “blue friend” by the hundreds of photographers who wanted to capture our awesome costume. Here is one of the photos, taken by Jurgen.

Announcement from Biowars: former writer of the X-Men, Scott Lobdell, has joined us to write a series of comic books for the Biowars project. The first comic book, due out spring of 2009 has been long anticipated and has received endorsement from a variety of well-known industry leaders. We will be sharing more of this information as we move along in the project.

Biowars attended Big Apple Con as guests and spoke with a variety of comic book artists and writers, including Larry Hama, the man behind many comics based on Marvel properties. There were a variety of vintage comic books on sale as well as various comic book paraphernalia.

Biowars was presented at the NJEA Convention on November 6 and 7 in Atlantic City. We showed off some of our artwork as well as shared information with teachers, school administrators, and students from the tri-state area.
