Initially a part of Raze, Viron separates himself once he’s inside the Cosmos and leads the virus army against the Nervous System.

Like Raze, Viron takes sadistic pleasure in the destruction of others. However, Viron prefers a more subtle approach. Viron and his forces lurk in the shadows and use their needle-like fangs to inject viral DNA into their living victims. Once infected, the hapless BioWarriors become unwitting incubators for more viruses, which burst free some time later.
Viron is a schemer. He wants to rule the Cosmos himself, but he knows he can’t defeat both Raze and the Immune System. His plan is to quietly build his own forces while Raze and Blastor battle it out. When the time is right he will strike, wiping out his enemies and seizing control of the Council of the Mind.

Z-Kron Microbe http://www.biowars.com/glossary/z-kron-microbe/ http://www.biowars.com/glossary/z-kron-microbe/#comments Thu, 27 Nov 2008 02:30:42 +0000 admin http://www.biowars.com/glossary/z-kron-microbe/ z-kron microbe

A designer microbe invented by the Combine, the Z-Kron microbe consists of a bacterial cell, mutated and under the control of Viron, its virus component. It combines the resilience and reproductive abilities of a virus with a deadly bacterial host, making it the greatest threat to the BioWarriors, and to mankind.

Up until now, no human host has ever survived more than 24 hours after being infected by the Z-Kron microbe.

Tenzor http://www.biowars.com/glossary/tenzor/ http://www.biowars.com/glossary/tenzor/#comments Thu, 27 Nov 2008 02:15:36 +0000 admin http://www.biowars.com/glossary/tenzor/ Tenzor started out as a relatively harmless E. Coli bacteria named Bacter, who entered the Cosmos through a cut in Alex’s skin. Blastor’s forces responded quickly to the infection and wiped out the tribe. Bacter managed to escape, and was rescued by Raze.

Through the bacterial ritual of conjugation, Raze mutated her, giving her some of his extraordinary powers. Her body became horribly twisted, sprouting the same sharp talons and deadly spikes. She also took on some of Raze’s vicious nature.

Renaming herself Tenzor, she roams the Cosmos as Raze’s second-in-command, infecting other harmless bacteria and leading the new battalions against Blastor’s forces. She also keeps a wary eye on Viron, rightly suspicious of his motives. The two rivals often plot against each other to curry favor with Raze.

And yet… somewhere deep inside Tenzor is a spark of decency, the last vestiges of Bacter, the innocent microbe who tumbled into this strange world and got caught up in a war that is not her own.

Raze http://www.biowars.com/glossary/raze/ http://www.biowars.com/glossary/raze/#comments Thu, 27 Nov 2008 02:12:10 +0000 admin http://www.biowars.com/glossary/raze/ raze

Simply put, Raze poses the greatest threat that Mankind has ever known. He is one half of the Z-Kron microbe, a designer germ created by the Combine for a single purpose: to terminate its target host. Raze’s method of accomplishing this is diabolically simple.

First, his forces enter the victim’s body disguised as harmless streptococci bacteria. Once inside Raze grows into his final terrifying form, while his soldiers explode, releasing a deadly virus which opens a second front against the defending armies, stretching their resources to the breaking point.

Raze is a fierce warrior. His gnarled body bristles with poisonous barbed scales, some of which he can shoot at others as pili spikes. In addition to his razor-clawed hands and feet, Raze has six powerful tentacles that can grab and crush those poor souls unfortunate enough to cross his path. Thanks to Dr. Kelso, he also has the ability to mutate himself in order to defend against anything the Immune System throws at him.

Perhaps Raze’s most important power is his ability to mutate other strains of bacteria into his obedient slaves by injecting them with his DNA. Thus he can create entire armies of loyal and vicious soldiers.

Cruel and manipulative, Raze will crush subordinates who displease him, or who no longer serve his purposes. He thrives on conquest, but each victory only leaves him hungering for more.

He will not rest until he alone controls the Cosmos.
